Financial Information
There are many factors to consider when choosing an endodontist and we understand the cost is important. And when it comes to symptomatic and painful teeth, there is urgency to being treated as soon as possible. Please make sure you are always asking these two important questions:
- the estimated cost of your visit and
- the first available date that you can be seen.
Payment Types Accepted
Our practice accepts credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover) checks, cash and Care Credit on the day of your appointment. We request pre-payment of procedures when the financially responsible will not be present and we require pre-payments for any procedure that involves sedation or any additional medications. The Apex front desk team can also send you an email with the dental codes and fees associated with your upcoming appointment - please just ask.
Insurance
Many of our patients have dental insurance. This can be a great benefit and our dental team is trained to help you maximize your plan. We always provide estimated fee information during your first call to our office. Fees are due on the day of your visit for all patients. We can submit dental insurance claims to most employer-based insurances and any reimbursement would go directly back to the subscriber. Please call and ask for our billing team to confirm if we are able to submit a claim to your insurance company.
Note: We do not have any Medicare or Medicaid providers at our office. We have many patients who have these benefits and are seen by us; however, we are unable to submit any of these claims to your insurance.
If you are ever confused about your specific plan, please contact the member services department of your insurance company. They can best explain your benefits and how much their reimbursement will be (sent to the subscriber). We can always email you a list of the dental codes we plan to bill for your procedure and each fee associated. This can be helpful when speaking with your insurance company about your plan.
